Was the Triangle procedure followed for the Settlement Level Planning?

Yes this year the village committee followed the Triangle procedure. The facilitator facilitated and encouraged the villagers to follow.

How many people were present at the village meeting?

What were the issues raised at the September SLP village meeting?

Income generation activities (Vegetable farming, training  for improved seed), Skill Training, scholarships, health and sanitation,  environmental issues, drinking water, irrigation plan, cattle farming training, construction of road.

What did the villagers decide to spend the Triangle funds on?

The villagers decided to spend the granted Nrs.85,000 by investing 15,000.00 in repairing of Satkanne (seven goddess) water tank, 10,000.00 for Social awareness  training to village committee and  50,000.00 for Vegetable farming and microloan support to village model farm and 10,000/- for scholarship from triangle support money.

Has the committee received the funds yet?

Yes, and the committee already has Nrs. 10,000/- from previous year. The disbursement was delayed because government banned banned giving money to villages before the Constituent Assembly National Election 19. Nov. They have received the Nrs 85.000 by end of November. 

 Activity plan

All activities will complete no later than end of the December 2013.

Who is responsible for the implementation?

The committee, facilitators and villagers.

How were the beneficiaries selected?

   The general indicators for the prioritization selection and distribution of money were:

  • the family who does not have enough land,
  • lack of food,
  • labourers who work for others,
  • landless people,
  • unemployment,
  • The family is positive and willing to work to improve their living status.

(It was created by VDC and LGCDP program )

Did the villagers have any comments/questions for the Triangle?

They would like to thank the Triangle organization for its support, and they wish continuous help of the organization.
