The villagers decide to spend Nrs. 56,000.00 to the income generating activities (goat rising) for 14 persons (14*4000 Nrs) The villagers decide to spend Nrs. 7200.00 for poorest student scholarship from the village (2 Persons * 300 Npr.*12 months) The villagers decide to spend Nrs. 5000.00 to build foot road from the village to school. |

Activity plan: When are the activities going to be implemented? |
6 person are selected and the money paid for goat rising (6* 6000 Nrs) 2 students are selected and the money paid from September 2012. The villagers built foot road from the village to school themselves so the villagers decide and spent Nrs. 19,500.00 to build Improve smokeless cook stove 5 poorest of the poor people got 10,000.00 Nrs to build Permanent toilet. |

Same village committee plays the vital role to implement the all activities and after that VDC Secretary and triangle responsible person hari also support to implement. |

First of all the committee decided to collect demand of money from community/villagers and after collecting the demand of money, all villagers organizes the meeting and make the criteria to distribution of money. generally last time the villager made this kind of indicators for the distribution of money

Were there any disagreements – discussions about the priorities? What was the role of the Triangle facilitator? |
Some of the villagers rise the money is very little so it is difficult to fulfill the aspect of the villagers but The facilitator Hari explain about the money and the supporting system from triangle and the villagers agreed and want to spend in right way. specially hari cooperate and Focus on the main issues and the income generating activities, give the information of the triangle and support to planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination and reporting.

Lack of awareness it is difficult to manage the money to right way so it have to provide technical knowledge for the business of income generating activities. It will be necessary to provide capacity building training to the villagers. |

1. The construction of foot road has been completed. The facilities are now being used by the Students. 2. Income generation activities and scholarship under implementation. |
Example: 1. The money distribution of income generation activities was delayed because of the villagers were totally busy in June and July their farmer fields. It is expected that the money will be distributed by early September. 2. School was closed in June and July so scholarship will be distributed in September. |

For 2012: 1. Eleven families had started goat farming with 4000 rupee loan each. Goats were produced for sale and profits made so that all money has been returned. 7 new families have benefitted from the loans (revolving fund). 2. Youth club got 8000 for volleyball. 3. Smokeless improved stoves, 27,500 rupee spent on that. 4. Agricultural specialist from a cooperative organization was hired to help with organizing the irrigation system. 5. Two scholarship were awarded 6. Permanent toilet, 10,000 rupee spent on that for 5 families. |
Change: 1. Profits from goats spent on food and school fees and 7more families have benefitted from loans.
3. The women’ health situation improved, use of firewood is more economical and CO2 emission is less. |

Plans for the future for 2013: the villages would like to grow oranges, coffee, lemon and vegetables.
The village got water from Okadi financed by British Welfare money for the ex British Gurkhas. 5 village members are ex Ghurkas. But the water is not enough for irrigation, so the village is requesting for water from the Village Development Council, VDC.
For the profile of the village is should be mentioned that the village fundraised for a Cemetery and have with the contributions have succeeded to make one of the most beautiful funeral place in the mountains. See pictures.
