Cast discrimination, women empowerment, health and sanitation, education for children, income generation activities, environment sanitation, toilet, drinking water, enterprise development

Income generating activities for women, pure drinking water for the school student, imperishable found for the scholarship for poor students

Has the committee received the funds yet?

Yes (April 2010, May 2011)

Activity plan: When are the activities going to be implemented?

23 persons started the income generating activities already.

3 filter already distribution to the school.

The scholarship will be distributed in end of the season April 2012.

Who is responsible for the implementation?

The committee plays the vital role to implement the all activities and after that VDC Secretary and triangle responsible person Krishna also support to implement.

How were the beneficiaries selected?

  • the family who has no more land
  • No good house.
  • Lack of food for whole year.
  • Labors.
  • Landless people.
  • Helpless peoples.
  • Unemployed family.
  • No guarantee for settlement.

Were there any disagreements – discussions about the priorities?

What was the role of the Triangle facilitator?

The money is very little so it is difficult to fulfill the expectation of the villagers.

The facilitator focus on the main issues and the income generating activities, give the information of the triangle and support to planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination and reporting.

Did the villagers have any comments/ questions for the Triangle?

Lack of awareness it is difficult to manage the money to right way.

They have no proper knowledge for the business of income generating activities.

it will be necessary to provide capacity building training to the villagers.
